First activity i encountered in working as S.a assigned at the Main Library.
Every year we, S.a in the library given a chance to trained how to manage students and staff in borrowing books and how to keep the library silent. We planned on how we assist the students and staff pleasantly and treat them nicely.
OPAC is one of the device used in finding the book easily. We, student assistant in the library should know how to used the OPAC to teach the students so that they can find the book without the help of the student assistant.
The workshop give us inspiration to do our job well. The flow of workshop is great. We act as a student who badly need our help in finding a book, but before we find the book the student assistant briefly tell to the student what she would in order to find the book easily.
It's good to be one of the student assistant in LRC. It's more fun to be one of the LIBRARY ANGELS. :)
